es eine Ãœbereinstimmung des Palpationsergebnisses zwischen den untersuchenden
Personen bezugnehmend auf die Bewegung der Fibula im Art. tibiofibularis
proximalis bei einer Dorsalextension und Plantarflexion im Art. talocruralis?

Methoden: Zwei
Osteopathinnen palpierten verblindet die Bewegung des Caput fibulae im Art.
tibiofibularis proximalis bei 50 Testpersonen während folgenden Bewegungen im
Art. talocruralis: aktive Dorsalextension, passive Dorsalextension, aktive
Plantarflexion, passive Plantarflexion. Diese vier Bewegungen im Art.
talocruralis wurden von Physiotherapeutinnen nonverbal angeleitet und in
zufälliger Reihenfolge ausgeführt.

Ergebnisse: Es
fand sich bei keiner der vier oben genannten Bewegungen im Art. talocuralis
eine Ãœbereinstimmung der Palpationsergebnisse im Art. tibiofibularis proximalis
zwischen den Osteopathinnen.

Diskussion: Die
Bezeichnungen der Bewegungsrichtungen kranial und kaudal gehören
überarbeitet. Die Geschwindigkeit der Bewegungsausführung sollte standardisiert
und die Ausweichbewegungen vermieden werden. Weitere Bewegungsrichtungen nach
anterior und posterior sollten zur Differenzierung ebenfalls als Testvariable
zur Auswahl stehen.

Konklusion: Es
konnte keine Aussage getroffen werden, ob das Caput fibulae sich im Art.
tibiofibularis proximalis bei einer Dorsalextension und Plantarflexion nach
kranial oder kaudal bewegte und, ob überhaupt eine Bewegung in diese
Bewegungsrichtungen stattfindet.

Title: The cranial and caudal movement of the Art.
Tibiofibularis proximalis during dorsalextension and plantarflexion

Study design: an inter-rater reliability study

Aims: The objective of this study is to investigate
if there is a correlation between results regarding a movement of the Art.
Tibiofibularis proximalis which two separate Osteopaths obtain who palpate the
Caput fibulae during dorsalextension and plantarflexion of the Art.
Talocruralis.

Methods: Two separate osteopaths, who are blindfolded
throughout the investigation, palpate the Caput fibulae of 50 probands as they
move the Art. Talocruralis actively into a dorsalextension and plantarflexion,
as well as, when the Art. Talocruralis is passively moved into dorsalextension
and plantarflexion through a third person, a physiotherapist, involved.

Result: This study could not find any correlation between the
results the two separate osteopaths obtained through palpation regarding a
movement of the Art. Tibiofibularis proximalis during dorsalextension and
plantarflexion of the Art. Talocruralis.

Discussion: The terminology cranial and caudal needs
to be reconsidered. In addition, the speed of active and passive movements in
osteopathic studies has to be standardised in order to produce comparable
results. To establish a differential diagnosis of the fibula movement of Art.
Tibiofibularis proximalis, it would be necessary to do further research in this
field including for instance the fibula movement to anterior and posterior.

Conclusion: No clear indication could be found if the Caput
fibulae moves cranial or caudal during dorsalextension and plantarflexion; to
be more specific, it has not been proven that there is any movement at all.
