Milliarden Menschen an erhöhtem Blutdruck. Laut der 2018 erstellten Leitlinie
der European Society of Cardiology (ESC) und der European Society of
Hypertension (ESH) senkt eine Reduktion des Blutdrucks nachweislich die
frühzeitige Entstehung kardiovaskulärer Erkrankungen und eine damit in
Verbindung stehende Sterblichkeit.

Zielsetzung: Darstellung der
Effektivität der Osteopathischen Therapie auf den Parameter Blutdruck anhand
einer Literaturanalyse.

Methodik: Erstellung eines
systematischen Reviews und Literaturanalyse anhand des RoB 2 Tools. In diese
Arbeit wurden randomisierte kontrollierte Studien (RCTs) und randomisierte
Studien im Cross-over Design der publizierten und nicht publizierten Literatur
eingeschlossen. Die systematische Literaturrecherche erfolgte in den
Datenbanken PubMed, The Cochrane Library, PEDro und in den elektronischen
Bibliotheken der Zeitschriften The International Journal of Osteopathic
Medicine (IJOM), The Journal of the American Osteopathic Association (JAOA) und
European Journal of Osteopathy (EJOR). Die Recherche der nicht publizierten
Studien erfolgte über die Plattform Osteopathic Research Web.

Ergebnisse: Zehn publizierte
Studien und sechs Studien der grauen Literatur wurden in dieses Review
miteinbezogen. Drei RCTs der publizierten Literatur wurden anhand des RoB 2 mit
einem geringen Risiko einer Verzerrung, sieben mit Some concerns bewertet. Im
Bereich der grauen Literatur wurden fünf Arbeiten mit Some concerns und eine
Masterthese mit einem hohen Risiko einer Verzerrung beschrieben.

Konklusion: Osteopathie zeigt
signifikant positive Effekte auf den Parameter Blutdruck. Über strukturelle
Techniken an der BWS und craniale Techniken können signifikante Wirkungen
erzielt werden. Bei Weichteiltechniken, vor allem Myofasziale Release- und subokzipitalen
Muskeltechniken, kann keine eindeutige Aussage getroffen werden.Schlüsselwörter: Osteopathie, Blutdruck, Behandlungstechniken

Abstract

en Background: As reported by the WHO (2020), 1.13 billion people suffer from high
blood pressure worldwide.
According to the 2018 European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and the European
Society of Hypertension (ESH) Guidelines, lowering blood pressure has been
shown to reduce the early development of cardiovascular disease and related
mortality.

Objective: To illustrate the effectiveness of osteopathic therapy on blood pressure
parameters based on literature analysis.

Method: The creation of a
systematic review and literature analysis using the RoB 2 tool. This work
included randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and randomized crossover studies
of published and unpublished literature. The systematic literature search was conducted using PubMed, the Cochrane Library and
PEDro databases and with journals from the Electronical
Journals Library including: International Journal of Osteopathic Medicine
(IJOM), Journal of the American Osteopathic Association (JAOA) and European
Journal of Osteopathy (EJOR). Research of unpublished studies via the
Osteopathic Research Web platform.

Results: Ten published studies and six non-published
studies were included in this review. Three RCTs of the published literature
were evaluated with a low risk of bias using RoB 2 and seven with some
concerns. In the non-published studies, five studies with some concerns and one
master thesis with a high risk of bias were described.

Conclusion: Osteopathy shows significant positive effects on blood pressure parameters.
Significant effects can be achieved through structural techniques at the
thoracic spine and cranial techniques. No clear statement can be made with the
soft tissue techniques, especially myofascial release and suboccipital muscle
techniques.
