leiden an vegetativen Störungen. Der Effekt von kraniosakraler Osteopathie wird
in bisherigen Studien als widersprüchlich beschrieben. Sie soll das
Gleichgewicht zwischen Sympathikus und Parasympathikus wiederherstellen. Die
HRV-Analyse hat sich als eine etablierte, valide Messmethode für das autonome
Nervensystem (ANS) gezeigt. Es gibt noch keine Studien, in denen Techniken am
Sakrum in Verbindung mit der Herzratenvariabilität (HRV) analysiert wurden,
daher ist das Ziel dieser Studie, den Effekt einer Stillpunktinduktion am
Sakrum auf das ANS zu untersuchen.

Methodik: Das Studiendesign ist
eine einfach verblindete randomisierte kontrollierte Studie. Es wurden 42
Gesunde (19 Frauen, 22 Männer) im Alter zwischen 19 und 64 Jahren ausgewählt
und auf eine Interventions- oder Kontrollgruppe per Losziehung zugeteilt. Die
Personen erhielten für 15 min eine einmalige Intervention
(Stillpunktinduktion am Sakrum oder eine Scheinbehandlung). Zur Messung wurde
jeweils vor und nach der Intervention eine 5 min. Kurzzeit-HRV-Analyse
eingesetzt. Das Messinstrument war ein Gerät der Firma BioSign mit einem
1-Kanal-EKG und einer Abtastrate von 500 Hz.

Ergebnisse: In beiden Gruppen kam
es zu einer Verbesserung der HRV. Es gab jedoch kein signifikantes Ergebnis der
Zielparameter RMSSD (p = 0,61), SDNN (p = 0,85) und
Herzfrequenz (HF) (p = 0,25).

Diskussion: Durch eine
Stillpunktinduktion am Sakrum konnte keine signifikante Veränderung des ANS
gezeigt werden. Auffallend ist, dass die HRV-Werte dieser Studie niedrig
ausgefallen sind. Es wäre wichtig herauszufinden, inwieweit sich die COVID-19-Pandemie
auf die Psyche der Menschen sowie das Tragen einer FFP2-Maske während der
Messung auf die HRV-Werte der Personen auswirkt. Weitere Studien sind daher

Abstract
en Introduction: An increasing number of people suffer from vegetative
disorders. In previous studies the effect of craniosacral osteopathy, which
aims to rebuild the balance between the sympathetic and parasympathetic
systems, has been described as conflicting. Heart rate variability (HRV)
analysis has been established as a valid tool to assess the autonomic nervous
system (ANS), but techniques on the sacrum have not been analyzed yet. The aim
of this study was to examine the effect of a stillpoint induction at the sacrum
on the ANS via HRV.

Methods: The study design was a single blinded randomized
controlled study. 42 healthy people (19 women, 22 men) between the ages of 19
and 64 were selected and randomly assigned to an intervention or control group.
Subjects received a one-time intervention (stillpoint induction at the sacrum
or sham treatment) for 15 minutes. A 5-minute-short-term HRV measurement
was performed before and after the intervention. A BioSign instrument with a
1-channal ECG and a sampling rate of 500 Hz was used.

Results: The HRV improved in both groups and there was no
significant difference of the target parameters RMSSD (p = 0,61),
SDNN (p = 0,85) and HR (p = 0,25) between the two groups.

Discussion: HRV analysis did not reveal any significant change in
the ANS from a stillpoint induction at the sacrum. Overall, the HRV data of
this study turned out to be low. It would be important to determine to what
extent the COVID-19 pandemic affected people´s psyche and if wearing an FFP2
mask during the measurement affected people´s HRV values. Further studies are
therefore required.
