Abstract
IntroductionThe study was performed due to mobility limitations observed in osteopathy
centers. The changes produced by the application of the Total Body
Adjustment technique in the functional movements of the body, measured by
the Functional Movement Screen test, were analyzed. The objective was to
highlight the changes in the movement of people.
Methods
We recruited 18 active subjects without ailments, who practiced sports
between 2 and 5 hours a week, aged between 20 and 35 years. After 1 loss,
the study ended up with 17 participants.
An experimental pilot study, randomized and blinded to third parties, was
carried out. The variables were the differences of score in both groups and
calculated by a statesman.
Results
They show a significant improvement of the intervention group against the
control. In contrast, the analysis of each test did not find significant changes
within each group (except the Shoulder Mobility test), nor between the two
groups.
Conclusions
Significant changes from the intervention group to the control are reflected.
Therefore the TBA produces improvements in mobility.
Due to a poor sample and bias, the results are not relevant.
Abstract
relevantes.
