- Abstract
- Introduction:_The General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) recognises 10 different osteopathic institutions. In a context of competition and marketing design, it is important for the European School of Osteopathy (ESO) staff to understand its appeal as well as the motives behind students' decision-making when they apply to the school. This report details a primary data gathering research dissertation designed to provide an understanding of the motives behind the decision making process of the ESO students of the four years of the 2009/2010 cohort. Method:_A questionnaire was sent out to the 237 ESO students of the 2009/2010 cohort via an Internet survey website. A total of 128 responses were received fully completed and useable.
